Performance characteristics of GM series hydraulic motors
Hydraulic Motors are precision hydraulic components. In order to fully utilize their functions, ensure their reliability, and extend their service life, users must master reasonable usage methods and correct operating procedures, and maintain them in a timely manner.
Installation and system liaison
1. Installation
A. Before installation, check whether the motor is damaged and whether the transmission output shaft is flexible. If the motor is stored for a long time, the oil inside the motor should be drained and flushed to prevent sticking of internal moving parts.
B. The motor mounting bracket must have sufficient stiffness to prevent vibration during rotation.
C. The motor and load should be coaxial connected, and the center of the output shaft should be aligned with the center of the working mechanism, ensuring a good fit between the two. During assembly, it is absolutely not allowed to hit the output shaft. When installing gears and other parts, the shaft end screw hole should be pressed in and not allowed to be hit. The output shaft of the HZH motor should not be tightened or loosened at times. The output shaft of the HZH motor cannot withstand axial force and is allowed to bear smaller radial force. Any installation direction should not cause the motor output shaft to bear additional radial or axial force. The output shaft of the HZH motor can withstand certain axial and radial forces, but this will shorten its service life.
D. Spring washers must be added to the installation screws and a torque wrench must be used, which must be tightened evenly.
E. The motor can be installed in any direction, but the oil drain hole should be ensured to be above the shaft level. When installing upside down, a one-way valve (P=0.1Mpa) should be installed at the oil drain port to prevent the oil inside the casing from being drained. The leaking oil port should be connected back to the oil tank separately, and it is not allowed to be connected to the main return oil circuit. For systems with high cleanliness of hydraulic oil for system valves, an oil filter should be installed at the motor leakage port.
2. System connection
A. The pipe fittings used in the oil pipeline system should be selected according to the maximum working pressure and the allowable oil flow speed. Oil pipes generally need to undergo a pressure test (1.5 times the working pressure). Before connection, strict pickling and cleaning should be carried out.
B. When connecting the system, it is necessary to recognize the installation position of the motor inlet and outlet on the installation diagram and the rotation direction of the motor. If the direction is found to be opposite, the A and B oil ports can be replaced and installed.
Working conditions
1. Selection of normal working parameters
A. Pressure: Long term continuous operation, it is recommended to reduce the pressure by more than 25% compared to the rated pressure; Periodic intermittent operation, with operating pressure not exceeding the rated pressure; The instantaneous maximum operating pressure shall not exceed the maximum pressure specified by the motor.
B. Speed: Long term continuous operation, the operating speed should not exceed the rated speed; In a short period of time, it should not exceed the maximum speed specified by the motor.
2. Selection of system parameters
A. The oil supply of the motor should be greater than 3% of the working flow rate
B. The pressure inside the motor casing should not exceed 0.1Mpa. When it exceeds 0.1Mpa, contact our company for negotiation.
Startup and operation
1. Preparation for startup
A. Before starting, check whether the motor is installed and connected correctly and firmly, and whether the system is correct. And fill the housing with filtered hydraulic oil from the highest oil discharge port of the motor.
B. Check whether the direction of oil inlet and outlet and the direction of motor rotation meet the working conditions.
C. Adjust the pressure of the overflow valve in the oil supply pipeline to the lowest value, and gradually adjust it to the required pressure after operation.
2. Operation and use
A. The starting shall be carried out under the no-load condition, gradually increase the speed to the working operation, and the no-load running in shall not be less than 20 minutes. After gradually increasing the pressure to the working pressure, operate for 1-2 hours, and observe whether the motor operates normally.
B. During the operation process, the motor and system should be regularly checked for working conditions. If abnormal temperature rise, leakage, vibration, noise, or pressure pulsation are found, the machine should be immediately stopped, the cause identified, and timely maintenance should be carried out.
C. Check the liquid level of the oil tank frequently. If a lot of foam is found, stop the tank immediately for inspection.
D. Regularly check the quality indicators of hydraulic oil. If it is found that the specified value is exceeded, the oil should be replaced with a new one. It is not allowed to use different types of hydraulic oil and mixed oil, otherwise it will affect the performance of the motor. The cycle for replacing the new oil varies depending on different working conditions, and users can customize it according to the actual situation.
E. Regularly check the use of the oil filter and ensure regular cleaning or replacement.
